The room we booked was unique and updated with private balcony and a private patio plus a double sided fireplace as advertised. There was a wide range of fab meals. It was in the central location to local music venues.
Well, no signal.

Beautifully decorated and vintage rooms with a private patio, coffee maker, for instance, and efficient personnel. Unbeatable location not far from where the wedding venues were within a five-minute walk from Lamothe House, so many great restaurants, and Jackson Square.

Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Was a good location to the French Quarter and shopping. The room was very clean except for the small trace of mold on the bathroom window.
The don't what warm water let alone hot water is. Called about the problem and was told to let it recover, well it doesn't recover. One morning the water was almost luke warm the next was just plain cold, I checked the water temperature several times throughout the day and there was no such thing as warm water, with the faucet turned up all the way. Finally on the last (third) day the water was hot. To me there was no excuse for this. I was not in the main building but one across the street and I think there was only two rooms in it. There was definitely a problem and they did not address it, when asked. For $ 300.00 a night there should be hot water.

The room I had wasn't very clean and didn't have a private balcony, but it did come with a comfy king bed and a bathroom. the food here was absolutely amazing - they had such a variety of delicious options to choose from! 🍽️.

It was close to Frenchman Ave and within walking distance of music.
It was not as nice as what I usually stay in. Big difference between 3 and 3 1/2 stars. The problem was, many of the nicer places were already booked. The room was small and not well maintained. The continental breakfast was unremarkable. Also, had to pay $30 a day for parking.

The house is very vintage and has lots of antique looking items.. Yet the rooms are very comfortable relaxing and modern! Excellent staff that was able to guide us on our adventures and answer our millions of questions! Very unique hotel!!!
Front desk night lady was completely rude about a noise complaint.. And didn't know who she was yelling at... It wasn't us yet she thought it was alright to be completely rude to my room... Check where the noise is coming from before you snap at paying guests! Day staff was 150% excellent!!!

Lamothe is a charming old guest house right on the edge of the French Quarter. There was a hot tub on the way to my room and outside (I.E. the walk from reception to my room) was leafy, cosy and welcoming. The room that I stayed in was perfect for one to two people and very clean.
Nothing. Brilliant brilliant brilliant.

The deluxe king room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was large with private balcony. The location of the hotel was marvellous and stunning - just a pleasant stroll away from a historic street. The staff were efficient and knowledgeable and made my stay an incredible experience.
